Publisher's summary

A meteorite from cosmic space falls to earth on a backwoods Massachusetts farm. The space rock possesses peculiar qualities and mystifies even the brightest university scientists. But it soon becomes clear that this is no ordinary meteor, as its otherworldly influence unleashes a creeping wave of despair, death, and decay into the land and its inhabitants.

don't drink the water

at first it sounded like a bad case of radiation poisoning. but like all his stories Lovecraft turned it around and made something horrific with it. the dramatization of the story made it sound more realistic and in a first hand perspective if the tragic incident. I never wish to see my children in that state and I doubt I will know what I would do if my children died or went missing. that added so much more horror to the story.

Radio drama at its best!

I really love these! They are done so well and they give you a real feel of how it was like to gather around the radio and hear a spooky story on a Saturday afternoon. Great acting and wonderful pacing. If you like old radio plays like the Shadow, etc., here's the horror version. Well Done!

Tantalizing & Enthralling

This is a must listen to if you are thinking of seeing the new movie,"The Colour Out of Space." Over all the voice acting was on point and the execution of the story was very well done. this story in my opening is better than the film, but at the same time, the movie was a hell of a ride. A must see if you love H.P. Lovecraft. Though I implore you to take a listen or read the short story first.

So much scarier than just reading the book!

The writing and acting in this really brings to life the horror of what happens to this family. Excellent performances and the idea of something landing in your yard that proceeds to destroy your family bit by bit, just terrifying.

An excellent radio-like performance!

An excellent version of a classic HPL story, lovingly performed by a car who clearly knows the story will and loves it.

Very good adaptation. The only thing is that some parts I couldn't understand the pronunciation
