Another great cat book!!!

I greatly enjoy this series of books. They are exceedingly well performed. Please be aware that these are very clean mysteries that don't have any real gore or explicit characters to them. They are wonderful books.

A fun read

Where does The Cat Who Went into the Closet rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

I love to listen to the "Cat Who" books when I exercise! This was a fun one that kept my interest. Truthfully, I don't want a deep, serious book when I exercise - e.g. go out for 5 milk walks and the such - I want something entertaining and not too deep. This book - and the others fit the bill perfectly.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The story is much the same as the other books in the series: Jim Qwellan lives in a small town with two amazing cats who seem to understand when trouble is around. The descriptions of the small town of Pick Ax and its inhabitants is well done; the story itself is sort of silly but who cares.?

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had no extreme reaction to the book - but there were times I would giggle!

Good holiday reading

Like all of the books in this series, it evokes small town America, the weather, its pioneer history, and what it must be like to live in that sort of community. The main character is likeable and although I don't usually like books that are 'fanciful', which they are in regard to the cats, you can easily suspend disbelief as they are well written and very well read. I shall be very sorry when I have finished the series. Start at the beginning if you are new to them as characters appear and reappear.
