Publisher's Summary

The Angry Tide is the seventh novel in Winston Graham's sweeping series of Cornwall, Poldark.
Cornwall, toward the end of the 18th century. Ross Poldark sits for the borough of Truro as a member of Parliament - his time divided between London and Cornwall, his heart divided about his wife, Demelza.
His old feud with George Warleggan still flares, as does the illicit love between Morwenna and Drake, Demelza's brother. Before the new century dawns, George and Ross will be drawn together by a loss greater than their rivalry and Morwenna and Drake by a tragedy that brings them hope....

While Graham’s story keeps one engaged and leaning forward, his skill of weaving articulate expressions of thoughts and emotions in the areas of life common to us all, love and death and purpose, endows his readers with substance to dwell on, consider and even possibly to help them in their own life journey.

Awesome series!

I have absolutely loved this series. The story is compelling and hard to put down. It has been wonderful to watch the characters grow. The narrator helps me to feel the joys and the pain of each person as if I am in the room with the characters. I would highly recommend this series of books.
