This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... I was genuinely spooked...
If you could sum up Tales from Beyond the Pale: The Chambers Tape in three words, what would they be?
Spooky, unsettling and ominous
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tales from Beyond the Pale: The Chambers Tape?
The bit were Doctor Chambers was talking about pain was pretty creepy so that sticks out a bit.
Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I'm a fan of Misha Collins as an actor and I'm surprised at how creepy he can sound when he wants to but it really worked for the story.
If you could take any character from Tales from Beyond the Pale: The Chambers Tape out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Definitely not Doctor Chambers...

I didn't want this to end
Misha needs to do guided meditations. His voice is just so rich and sucks you in. When he said "good" when you followed direction, I got happy that I pleased him and did what he asked. Damn, he's quite the cult leader, eh? He could read anything and I would hang on to his every word.

I actually got a little spooked by this
I thought it was a mediation tape! Well well well, I didn’t pay much attention at the beginning, and when the warning came up, I was walking alone on a dark lane, with my headphone on... Phew. But Misha did an excellent job on the mediation voice, it was just simply tempting and calming. I think I will listen to it again.

Relaxing and creepy!
Loved it! I play it over and over. Dr. Chambers is both hypnotic and terrifying. Can't seem to stop listening to it. Not even if I wanted to.

Listen with headphones
Misha’s just the right side of creepy in this and they couldn’t have picked anyone better to do it. Even though it’s a little creepy, his voice is so relaxing you could probably fall asleep while listening if you wanted to. Use headphones cause you’re not gonna regret having his gravel and whiskey voice surrounding and embracing you.

BREATHE IN, BREATHE OUT
REMEMBER THE FIVE WORDS
The production on this was exceptional. It is a recording within a recording. Partly it ponders back to the old cassette days and the old mediation tapes. I did not find it particular scary, but did find it an interesting and unique experience. I listened while walking the dogs, but believe you would be better off listening in a dark quiet room, as Dr. Chambers suggest, to get the full enjoyment of the tape.
