Born and raised in Winston Salem, NC, Cynthia, or Cee Cee as she is called, is raised by her father and grandmother after the death of her mother. Vernon does everything to make sure his daughter never wants for anything, providing a picture-perfect life and sheltering her from the hard streets that he once knew.
An incident at school changes all of this when Cee Cee meets Chuck and her hidden promiscuous ways are exposed. Will the one secret that she kept from her friend Chuck prove to be the deadliest, or will the secret that her family has been keeping be the smoking mirror?

I want more! I want more! I want more! *chanting*

Mike O, Ohhhh, Mike O! What else can I say but you are so wrong for leaving me hanging like this. I want more! This story was very well developed and you get to know the characters and their strengths and weaknesses. The description and sexual content in the book were well written and filled with imagination. What I like most about this book is the many real life topics you see the characters go through. This book actually has opened my eyes to what is going on in the minds of our youth and the things they deal with in their young lives. I also like how the author helps the readers put the puzzle pieces together so that you know the back story and the importance of some of the characters and can recognize their roles in the story. Lashone Garth is a good narrator and did ok but I think Celeste Graham would have did an awesome job too. I suggest this book to all my urban literature friends you won't want to put this one down. I can't wait for the sequel to see how the characters lives turn out based on everything that we now know. Good Job Mike O you did that and I want more!
