Publisher's Summary

Angel stumbles into church one day and ends up a First Lady when she catches the preacher's eye, heart and soul. She is unchurched, timid, shy; just a babe in Christ trying to figure out what this God thing is all about, and at the same time how to be a pastor's wife. She's on the right path, until a church mother puts up a road block. All Angel wants to do is try to get into heaven. But first she'll have to go through the pit of hell Mother Calloway puts her through with her un-Christ-like antics.

Good BUT too much talking without saying anything.

I enjoyed this book for the most part. I liked the story & the narrator. The only problem I had with the book is a lot of unnecessary chatter about nothing. There many things said that were irrelevant or just plain distractions that made me keep thinking to myself "who cares, just get to the point". Other than that, I enjoyed it.
