Good Book

I enjoyed the story. I thought it was believable; however, it was definitely a memoir that could be true or completely false. I did think the narrator was a strange pick. Having an older White gentleman using hip-hop terminology was a bit weird.

Great Story

Was thoroughly entertained. Im probably one of the bigger Eminem fans but I'm able to hear out the other people's perspective without going for the simple strawman arguments that everyone who's had a negative experience with em is money hungry. also im currently working in the security feild so that aspect of it appealed to me as well.

Book was okay

I don't believe everything Bryon has to say on the racial issues but I do believe the stories he told with him and Eminem. Interesting book overall.

What the enemy means for evil, God means for Good

The transparency in this book was strong. The decision to become Skin's bodyguard was pretty sacrificial. Byron's staying power/loyalty was nothing short of Godly because without that his focus would not have been possible. The Wad Squad was a huge motivational push toward him reaching his goal to get connections and promotions. The rebuilding of himself through God, after such bad experiences, is what intrigued me the most about this book.

Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BS

I would like to first start off and say I'm not a die hard eminem fan. He is good I like him but I'm not into like a lot of other people are. This book is filled and written by a disgruntled employee. Who seems to have been about to get fired for constant complaints and righteousness. It is 5 hours of this guy saying why he feels he is owed more then what he is getting. Makes you think why didn't he quit a week into work. It is garbage. Filled with " they are racial undertones" this is a black white thing. And then this guy gos on to say he is a man on GOD and is better then and I quote "the Jew and the white trash boy". Wich is racial in it's own right. This is what is wrong with America today I hop the author understands ( Mathew 5:20. ). He wants to quote the bible maybe he needs to re read it. Wow bro. Find another way to make money on your own not through other people. Horrible book.

Don't waste your time.

As an executive protection professional, I frequently read the memoirs of those who have gone before.
There are many things to be gleaned from the experience of others.
Not so with this book.
Aside from the obvious grammatical errors, the author comes across as arrogant and whiny throughout.
He moans about how he is unappreciated and underpaid, how he works so much harder than everyone else ad nauseum.
The dialogue is inconsistent as well.
It switches back and forth between ebonics and articulate English in ways that seem like much of the dialogue was 'remembered' long after, when the author wanted to portray himself in a different light.

Waste of time

Just a bitter ex employee trying to get revenge. The narcissism and racism are so absurd it becomes comical. Every single dealing this man speaks of goes bad and it’s never his fault. Egomaniac trying to make a story out of nonsense we already know (I.e. Slim and Kim fought a lot.).

Who is he kidding?

I’ll give it to Eminem. The fact that he didn’t go off on this guy is shocking. This man wrote such a joke of a book. I am glad I didn’t pay for it. It was nonsensical. He says that Paul told him the bodyguard would need a POA for petty cash, that Em was only given a budget of $250 a week at the height of his career, accuses him of being racist, it is so incredibly libelous. This dude is out of his mind. What a waste of time.

Dripping with self righteousness and redundant

First off Mr Rodgers narrating this dudes story was HILARIOUS but....I heard a jealous bitter self righteous hypocritical dude spin his tale. Im sure the stories are true but the perspective is wak
