Have met Schindler survivors and visited his grave, so was looking forward to listening to the book, but I should have known that I wouldn't get involved in an abridged book. Too much was left out. Will have to wait for an complete version of Schindler's Ark or have the time to read the book.

... if unabridged! Kingsly blew this out of the water! Goose bumps, tears, pounding heart- he made me feel it.

loved it.Ben Kinsley narrating was sublime. Audio version better than reading the book myself. Superb
It is not the full book, a huge amount of the story is skipped. I want a refund.

Tom Keneally has truly written a masterpiece. In the main it is an unforgettable portrait of Oscar Schindler. Yet, the story uniquely presents scenes of essential viewing for those of us who live in the world that stood witness to the Holocaust. Keneally's abilities for historical fiction are stunning, painting a hard but not indulgent canvass of events difficult to comprehend. The evils of the concentration camps, and the hope bought by Schindler -- himself not flawless -- is the kind of story that even confounds the reader, and at many turns inclines one to consider one's own understanding of human nature and the solution to the evil unearthed in the human heart.
