Captivating!

I'm always encouraged when I read stories by Karen Kingsbury. Taking the familiar story of the prodigal son from the Bible, I love how Karen Kingsbury wove that story into this book with Luke Baxter; experiencing a picture of the consequence when we walk away from God.

Very impressive writing. Made me laugh and cry. Also, helped bring God into the light for me to somewhat understand when bad things happen. Very thankful for this series so far.
