Publisher's Summary

She closed her eyes to the nightmare that awaited her, hoping beyond hope that the rich guy she just met might somehow care enough to save her.
CC's whole life had been one horror after another. She'd finally escaped her evil husband and felt safe and almost happy and well hidden with her fake identity on the other side of the country. But, when Jerome spots her in the middle of New York City, she has only one thought: run!
This time she doesn't get far: She's back in his clutches, and scared for her life. There's only one hope - the alpha billionaire that just made arrangements to have her as his "special companion" for the next year. CC was right to have hope because, even as her evil husband prepares to do his worst, the alpha billionaire is pulling out all the stops to get her back. Because no one steals from Boyd Stanley. No one!
This is a dark love story in an urban setting.

Finally BWWM romance in audible. fair read.

I read this book and I wanted to throw coin to the audible version. I am sick and tired of hunting for stories about woman of color (dark skin) within ANY audible version. They are few & far.. So, this story is ok. some action.. Maybe in the future there will me lengthy (hours) audible book stories with people of color..With ACTION and some sex.. hee hee

Not a very good story line

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would not recommend this book to a friend because it's poorly written. I was not happy also with the story line nor the narrator.

Has Rescued by the Billionaire turned you off from other books in this genre?

I'm not entirely turned off by these kind of stories. But I didn't like the women for sale as though they were slaves.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narrator could have enunciated better.

Do you think Rescued by the Billionaire needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

There's no need for a follow-up book to this.
