Publisher's summary

Seven years ago, Grace Grafton died in a boating accident while partying on the Georgia, South Carolina coast. Was her death the result of alcohol and drugs or something more sinister? Nobody knows: her body was never recovered.

Now years later, a woman reads in disbelief the note addressed to her: Hello Grace, did you think we wouldn t find you?

Those nine chilling words end Grafton's self-imposed sanctuary of witness protection. Now she and everyone she loves are in grave danger. Long believed dead, she has a secret that can change the world. She knows the man running for president is guilty of a double murder! But who will believe her?

Great Storyline

What did you like best about this story?

The story line was fantastic there were just facts that were wrong in the beginning and it basically ruined the book for me.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The accents were very stereotypical and negative.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Redeeming Grace?

The scenes were ok just needed to be written better.

Any additional comments?

The story was great but need to make sure time lines are right and just written better. I loved the story though and that kept me hooked until the end but I was just put off by the narrator and by certain incorrect facts.

Good story but........

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Way to wordy. I found that I was fast-forwarding through chapters to get to the knitty-gritty parts of the story.

What did you like best about this story?

The theme of the story was good.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jeff Conwell?

I really don't know. Maybe someone who has a southern accent already would be good.

Do you think Redeeming Grace needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

A follow-up book would be okay as long as it is not drawn out.

Enjoyable

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The reader.... at times it sounded mechanical and monotone. Had to work hard to press pass that!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Redeeming Grace?

When she's escaping.

What didn’t you like about Jeff Conwell’s performance?

Mechanical & Monotone.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Maybe.

Any additional comments?

- Good story
- A couple of times it was a little slow
- I liked the fact that they kept it clean

Very religious

If you’re looking for a book with lots of religious references, you may have a different opinion. The plot seemed improbable but it may not seem so to people who believe that God constantly intervenes in peoples lives.

After seven years they have found her, no escape.

What did you love best about Redeeming Grace?

It was an exciting and interesting story. The characters had a lot of depth and I really felt like I got to know the characters in this book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Grace was, it's her story and so you really get to know her and experience things right along with her.

What about Jeff Conwell’s performance did you like?

I thought he did a great job bringing the characters to life.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A bad choice seven years ago has haunted her ever since, and now they have found her, there is no where left to run.

Edge of your seat suspense!

Redeeming Grace has characters that you love and hate, a somewhat plausible story line and and idea of government elections finance that is relevant today. Highly recommended read! Too many lines were repeated to give the narration five stars though.

Excellent book, but problem with narrating...

This story is very gripping, making me not want to even pause it to sleep. I played it over a Bluetooth speaker while cleaning the house, riding in the car, etc. I love how there were so many people in different walks of life, and the powerful relationship and faith some had in the Lord! I did not want it to end and will definitely buy more of Mr. Tannebergs books, ASAP!!!
The narrator is great with telling the story and all the voices, except for repeating the same phrase twice, quite often. I began to literally cringe every time he did that. It was so irritating that had the story not been so fabulous and gripping from the beginning, I would not have been able to listen to the book.

Great story

The plot of the story is well thought and has moments that catch you off guard. However, the narration was not spliced together as well as it should. Several instances throughout of repeated phrases as if they were trying to make it better. Doesn't detract from the story.
