Ransome Canyon

I enjoyed listening to this story about different people living in a town and a land that brought them happiness and hope for a great future. I look forward to listening to more stories in this series.

I enjoyed the first book from the series, of Ransom Canyon. I can't wait to begin Book 2. This is the first time I've read a book written by, Jodi Thomas. I only have praise for her writing. Ms. Thomas style of presenting her story is entertaining to the reader. I loved how she introduced the many characters, and made me aware of her ability to focus on each part of the storyline, as she captured my complete interest. I also enjoyed the narrator, Julia Gibson.

Ranson Canyon

This is the first book in this series. This book has several different things going on. It held my attention and makes me want to continue to the next book. There is several families and I'm not sure how they tie together. I think the next book will tie things together even more. Staten Kirkland and Quinn O Grady is one of the main characters. Yancy Grey comes into town as an x con and starts liking the people and starts wanting to be good and help his new friends instead of stealing. Lucas Reyes is my favorite he likes Lauren which is the sheriff's Daughter and he works for Staten. This book has good strong characters in it. This is my first book by Jodi Thomas . I will continue with this series. I like the way she ties the people together to hold your interest.Julia Gibson does a good job narrating this book. I can’t get past the awful A I sounding narrator! Had to stop listening

The voice was terrible, totally distracting from a good story I think. I wish there was an alternate version
