Publisher's Summary

Essence number-one best-selling author Kiki Swinson holds nothing back in this sensational tale of a scheming lawyer without limits. Yoshi Lomax loves playing dirty. She'll do whatever it takes to win a case - including bribing cops, sleeping with her superiors, and convincing her DEA pals to make evidence disappear. But when Yoshi runs out of tricks while defending a Haitian mob boss, the gangster makes one thing clear: Yoshi either wins the case or loses her life.

I think Kiki needs to go back to the community college that she got to publish this book and take a few creative writing classes. I don't know what was more poorly researched, the contents contents of this high school fictional narrative or the audience that this was intended for. Absolutely terrible story. although she did a very good job at making sure you dislike the main character. She really should not be writing legal thrillers. the thing that really pissed me off of the attempt at bring in the DEA. there is no such thing as a director and they don't investigate murder cases. Usually they say people who swear a lot are just showing there ignorance, well Kiki has proven that that is true even when you writ it. Defiantly don't waste a credit, and I wouldn't pay 1.00 for this one. The only list I could ever really take seriously with this book on it would be Jerry Springers book club list!!!
