Publisher's summary

Meet Greggory Mason: successful businessman, doting grandfather, and - in the end - loving husband; determined to succeed; proud of his accomplishments; and now, looking back on his life, unsure where he stands.

Depart with him on an epic journey as the curtain of mortality is drawn aside and he steps out onto the treacherous road of his own lifetime. Danger lurks just off the beaten path, his way forward blocked by a strange, cloying mist, threatening him with something far more terrible than mere vengeance - self-recrimination - as he is forced to relive the worst moments of his life from the perspectives of those he's wronged.

Now, if he is to have any hope in completing this self-made journey of terror, he'll have to own up to arrogance or lose himself to the ultimate fall.

His soul hangs in the balance, excuses wearing ever thinner, ready to tip him over a precipice of his own unmaking.

Join him on the path...if you dare.

Could have been better...

Would you try another book from Ammon Prolife and/or Kirsten Richardson?

Quite Possibly I'd consider another book from this author.

If you’ve listened to books by Ammon Prolife before, how does this one compare?

This is the first one.

What does Kirsten Richardson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She had a nice, vibrant listening voice.

Was Path of the Soul: The Final Journey worth the listening time?

Unfortunately, it wasn't my cup of tea.

It was ok

"This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast."

I wasn't sure what to expect with this short
story. I'm glad I wasn't hit over he head with religion. The narrator seemed sleepy. I can see how this may have been a desired effect but it didn't work. I also feel the story needed a male narrator.
Most of the story moved quickly, visually the landscape was painted. I just don't think this is one I'll remember years from now. It's one of a million ideas about what the afterlife judgement will be like.

Good idea, good story...

Any additional comments?

This book follows Greg and his imagined path right after his death. It seems his soul is provided with choices to make and paths to follow in a period of transition before reaching an unknown destination. He goes through memories and reflects on his life in different ways.

The story is very descriptive of the path he takes and his feelings when coming upon different obstacles. The narration was good, but seemed a little bit slow and methodical for my personal taste.

Overall, this was a pretty good listen and it did make me ponder the possibility of an afterlife.

I received a free copy of this audio book for an honest review.

I wanted to like this book more

This story is about a man who takes a journey in the afterlife and reflects on the things he did in his past, his regrets, etc. I honestly think that I would have enjoyed it more with a better narrator. The narrator sounded like she was slurring her words, and the words weren't as pronounced as they should have been. (sounding lazy in her speech). Also, the studio where it was recorded at didn't sound as good as most audio books do. Like I said, the story would have probably reflected better had it not been for these issues.

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Blast.
