Incredible

The narrator does a great job and is easy to listen to.
Vonnegut’s various speeches are fantastic and makes me wish I could have seen him speak in person before his passing.
Highly recommend.

For diehard Vonnegut fans only

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Someone who is very interested in Vonnegut might find something interesting in here. I'm a big fan of all his novels, but this book just swings between trivial tedious family histories and anecdotes and bitter old man rants.

Has Palm Sunday turned you off from other books in this genre?

Ranty tedious memoirs? No thanks.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narrations was fine.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment and boredom for sure. I thought Vonnegut's characteristic whit and satire would find its way into his nonfiction writing, but that was not the case. This book was super boring....
to be totally honest, I only got about 1 third of the way through...

Vonnegut's Memoirs

Vonnegut's memoirs are told in his inimicable way: with poignancy, truth and a humorous irony.

Tom Stechschulte's narration is spot on.
