If you could sum up Now and at the Hour of Our Death in three words, what would they be?
Belief is freedom.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Mary, naturally. A modern-day saint shows how it's possible to do what's right despite the pressures of a decadent culture.
Which character – as performed by Mim Drew – was your favorite?
Mary--she fully captured the earnest innocence. Also, Mim nailed the sarcasm of the sister, Hannah.
If you could take any character from Now and at the Hour of Our Death out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Mary's grandmother. She's a hoot.
Any additional comments?
Now and at the Hour of Our Death is a magnificent work of spiritual and sociological examination that will thoroughly entertain from beginning to end. It is a page-turner even though it's an audio book. JSB Morse is a masterful storyteller and manages to weave in some of the most amazing themes you'll find in all of modern literature--faith, skepticism, fame, media, coolness, innocence, good, and evil.
It's much more challenging than most spiritual books out there, and has much more soul than most novels out there. In short, it's a unique piece of literature that is sure to be the source of great conversations on a number of fronts.

Oh dear.. I did not really care for this... I have no idea why I bought it, but I guess someone, somewhere wrote a good review.
Yikes! It's pretty bad. I don't even want to waste any more time writing a review for it. Steer clear.
