Not a "happily ever after" book!

This struck me as a lovestory without much closure. Left me wanting more. Characters are well developed and it is well written, but this is not your typical "love story" where everyone lives happily ever after. Left me feeling sad. May be a little too close to "real life!"

Love this book!

I absolutely love this book and it has a good moral at the end. It is sad though. Even after listening to it over 20 times, I still want to grab the tissues. I have not read a Nicolas Sparks book that I did not enjoy.
