Publisher's summary

Rachel Merrell goes into shock when her ex-boyfriend, Jeffery Williams, begins dating her half sister Marlene Draper. At first, Rachel swears Jeff is feigning interest in Marlene just to get back at her for breaking up with him. Rachel pretends Jeff’s interest in Marlene doesn't bother her, but when they unexpectedly hit it off and love begins to blossom, Rachel can't bear to watch the happy couple. Suddenly, Rachel wants Jeff back and she is determined to get him no matter what the cost - including Marlene's happiness.

But when her attempts to regain Jeff's affections fail, Rachel decides to join an online dating service, creating a profile under an assumed name, just to test the waters. Surprisingly, Rachel's profile matches someone who sounds like he'd be the perfect replacement for Jeff, but when she sees a picture of the man of her dreams, she's dumbfounded and pissed: It is Jeff! Despite Rachel's jealousy over her sister's relationship, she has to tell Marlene the truth about the two-timing Casanova. Now the women will work together to devise a way to make him pay for what he's done...and discover a thing or two about sisterhood in the process.

This book was ok I guess.

I purchased this book because I read just about everything that has peeked my interest & I couldn't find anything else.
Who would even been interested in their sisters ex was the first question that came to me. Who would even entertain the thought? This book is different. I can't say it was terrible though. The ending made me so mad. It left me thinking "Is this really it? I spent all this time reading this book just for that?" Very disappointing ending. The book was dragged on. It needed a bit more. Some parts were interesting and others left you mad. Both narrators did an amazing job with each characters personality. In the end be careful how you get your man.

My Sister's Ex

Hummm - start was a bit slow, dry and predictable.. but then towards the middle, the story punch line picked up..my only flaw was mixing the characters up (sisters/mothers)..

It was okay

The story was interesting to know the ending. The girls in the story were draining with there bad choices. The characters seemed realistic. I truly enjoyed the performance. The story was a bit far fetch. The ending was not predictable. It was an okay listen.

An ending you wouldn't expect

The story was ok but I just didnt like the fact that the sister would even entertain her sister ex fiancee but I guess it happens a lot all over the world. The end is what blew me away because it was different and unexpected. The author did a great job developing the characters and also telling the story regarding the relationship of the parents and the roles each parent plays in the story. The narrator did a good job speaking the roles of each sister. All in all the book was a little slow paced for me and I needed more action than what this book gave me the only part that really grasped me was near the end of the book.

It was ok!!

I like a feel good story where the characters learn a lesson. I like the story itself but I don't quite think the events add up to the storyline. Also the narrator's were too much all the time!! The characters too were naive and the story seemed unfinished. I think they should've told more about Jeff. Also Jeff 😂😂😂 dying because of a car was so ridiculous! I mean what was he going to do?!? I know he had insurance so run after a SUV like he was going to be a buffer and stop the crash! 🤔🤔😂😂. Ultimately it was a time passer but I had to listen in spurts only because I was committed.

Disappointed Houstonian

This book was mostly blah blah nothing. The same thing was repeated over and over. The author could have made the book so much more interesting. Being that I am from Houston I really wanted to like this book but it just had now WOW factor. Adenrela Ojo did a good job but Bonnie Turpin went overboard to me.
