Narration: Kirsten Potter is one of my favorite historical romance narrators. I love how she does the accents, her male voices are on point and she makes stories more interesting.
Story: I really like Angeline Fortin and the last 25% of this story shows the passion, excitement and action I look forward to when I read/listen to her books. This story felt a bit long and about half way in it was getting boring. But I am soooo glad I finished it because that last quarter of the book Makes everything make sense and so exciting. This is a past life/reincarnation/Dejavu story of a love that survives death, travels time and countries, a love for ever and always. Beautiful!!

Usually reading time travel stories saddens me deeply. Leaving people one loves behind and moving on was always the part that weighed my heart down but not so here. AF does a fabulous job keeping the story upbeat and happy. Time travel is like believing in Santa Clause. You know it's not real and yet that does not reduce the ache of longing for it to be real. I absolutely adored this book

Ayr isn't in the Highlands of Scotland
so title created the wrong impression
still enjoyed the book
I really could not understand how this story could be about time travel, then right at the end what a twist it all made sense. great narrative and a good story with lots of twists and turns.
