Publisher's Summary

Midway is a tie-in novella that compliments The Harvesting, Book I in The Harvesting Series.
Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, for the beginning of the end.
Carnie. Ride jockey. Roustabout. White trash. Tilt girl. Gypsy. Cricket has been called a lot of things, but she never thought survivor of the zombie apocalypse would be one of them. One day she's barking on the midway, and the next day, the world is eating itself alive.
Cricket, along with Vella, a tarot reader, and Puck, Cricket's mangy mutt, find themselves running for their lives, but where can you hide when mankind has fallen? Cricket will need help if she hopes to survive.
Luckily for her, we were never really alone, and apparently, magical forces want to keep this tilt girl alive.

Who said the carnie life is boring?

Would you listen to Midway: The Harvesting Series, Book 1.5 again? Why?

If I were to begin listening to the Harvesting Series, I would definitely give this another listen to refresh myself of the events. It's short enough that it won't take a whole lot of your time, and it's good enough to be entertaining.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Midway: The Harvesting Series, Book 1.5?

Actually, the most memorable moments were done by the narrator. Kristin James was able to breathe very distinct life into each character and it was quite a joy to the ears.

What about Kristin James’s performance did you like?

Um....the better question would be, what didn't I like? Which would be nothing, which means from top to bottom the performance was a memorable one and one that is going to steer me to grabbing The Harvesting.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Puck. That's all I'll say

Highly Entertaining!!!

Would you listen to Midway: The Harvesting Series, Book 1.5 again? Why?

Yes...it was well narrated and a super fun listen...I love the southern drawl and the story very much!!!

What other book might you compare Midway: The Harvesting Series, Book 1.5 to and why?

This has kind of a Tufo-esque quality to it...like the ZFO series...I can not wait to listen to book 1 and then 2!!!!!

What about Kristin James’s performance did you like?

She is great...lots of personality and flair...I would definitely listen to her again!!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did...couldnt put it down!!!

Any additional comments?

I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review...and honestly, I loved it!!! Its about a carnie girl named Cricket who finds herself right in the middle of a zombacolypse! She has a friend who is a fortune teller and a dog...and meets some interesting characters along the way....great dialogue and character development.....2 thumbs up...made me want to listen to book 1...matter of fact I may just buy it now, and I cant wait for book 2!!! :)

can we have more books in the series, please?

A great intermediary while waiting for the book 2 in audio format. Gives the story a bit of a different twist. Unexpected surroundings to be honest, but it was fun, well... as much as a story like this can be "fun" thou, - you know what I mean, right? I just really enjoy how this story-universe is developed, and characters are really interesting and relatable too.
