An excellent story and the perfect narrator

Where does Mathew's Tale rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top 10%

Have you listened to any of James Bryce’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes all excellent

Who was the most memorable character of Mathew's Tale and why?

Mathew ofcourse. I love Mr Jardin's strong principled men, who also have enough flaws in them to keep their feet on the ground.

Any additional comments?

When the narrators voice and accent matches the work they are reading. It works, when they do not a disservice has been perpetrated on the writer and listener. I strongly feel more attention needs to be given to this.
