Poor remaster
My favorite book. Read a dozen times. This audio butchered it. Sentences ran into each other and pauses in wrong places. Poorly remastered

Story was great but narration was not enjoyable
The book itself was very good and entertaining, but as other people have said, I did not enjoy the narrator. I ended up, slowing down the book a bit because the narrator spoke so fast. It was almost like run-on sentences. In addition, the random pauses were confusing at times. At first, I thought the pauses were at the end of a chapter but then I realized it was happening in the middle of sentences as well. I plan to recommend the book but not the audio version to others. I hope there are plans to re-record this with somebody else in the future.

Entertaining
This was on our list because we very much enjoyed the mini series from several years ago. We were not disappointed, and even though it does get a little predictable, we were just looking for entertainment for a long drive.
