Publisher's Summary

Delightful!

I wish more of my friends spoke French. This is a beautiful story with a narrator who makes it so personal that I laughed and cried. Mostly I laughed, over and over.

One breath novel

It's the first time I listened to a book by Backman. What an unexpected brilliant novel. Several stories - realistic and of fantasy- are narrated in parallel and they all joined together in an emotional funny story. The characters follow the same structure, the females characters are strong. The male ones show their weaknesses in a relationship pleasant way. I don't tell any details, but really worth listening. Also the narrator - in French- did a very good job.
