Brilliant start to the series

If you could sum up Lineage: A Beginning in three words, what would they be?

Brilliant vampire story

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lineage: A Beginning?

I really liked how so much happens in a short story.

Any additional comments?

I have previously read this series but the audio book really brought the characters to life.
