Kimberley Sun ambles along without ever making an impact. Its vanilla sex and politics make it unlikely to disturb readers' afternoons, let alone their sensibilities. In other words, it is perfect popular fiction

This was a nice easy listen, enough twists and turns to keep you intrigued and plenty of culture and diversity as well
A nice sequel to the first book about Broome and the pearling industry
Great potted history of aspects if pearling but felt it didn't deliver on the build up...no real climax. Easy listening and enjoyed it but left me a bit flat.
Another great story from Di Morrissey.. Well told, easily identifiable characters, easy to lose yourself in the scenery.
For the most part the reading was excellent but the voice of Lily was very off putting.
she sounded English & upper class in this book, where in the first of the series she was a straight forward Aussie. I became very annoyed with her voice as it didnt fit the character at all!
