Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse was an Englishman who wrote novels, collections of short stories, and musical theatre. He enjoyed enormous success during a seventy career but is known today mostly for his humorous tales of Jeeves and his somewhat dim-witted but rich employer, Bertie Wooster. Wodehouse managed to created multiple layers of comedic complications as Jeeves strove to rescue his "young master" from various entanglements.
