Publisher's summary

Chief Park Ranger Henry Shore has dealt with and fought real live dinosaurs at his beloved Crater Lake National Park for over six years. With the help of his rangers, a few brave FBI friends, and army soldiers, he'd been victorious over a prehistoric lake creature and years later some particularly fiendish, and clever, specimens of the flying variety. He and his newspaper publisher wife, Ann, thought their park was finally rid of the monsters and they could reclaim their tranquil life in a place they cherished. Not so.

For suddenly across the park new and even more malevolent mutant species of dinosaur begin to appear and create havoc, attacking the park's visitors and threatening its peace. And this time, the primeval scourge isn't confined to just their park. The creatures have moved into the nearby towns, across the western United States, and up into Canada. They are so much more aggressive, smarter, and hungrier than any that have come before and the infestation is spreading further and faster than Henry and Ann can even imagine. This time there's no easy way to defeat the dinosaurs. There's too many of them and they're too devious. This time it's full out war and the victor will someday claim Earth.

addictive and bad

it's so poorly written, the characters are cardboard and everything is so stupid and outlandish, but it's somehow addictive and I do plan to see the series to it's end because for one, I've made it this far, and for two, I am intrigued to see where it goes.

Didn't keep my interest in the plot why would this country use a small outpost when fighting dinosaurs especially mutant ones..

Infestation

Crater Lake National Park is having a problem with those pesky dinosaurs again! They thought they were rid of them...but no.They're back bigger and better at adapting to this world.Park ranger Henry along with his co workers fortify their main building. The army and police are charged with killing as many dinosaurs as they can.We find out that the infestation has spread to towns beyond the park. It's a fun book to listen to.Johnnie C Hayes is the perfect narrator.I was provided this book for review by the author, narrator or publisher.

A fun series, check your brain at the door....

This is a fun, light listening series. The narration is a bit odd but that adds to the quirkiness of the story. Just enough action to keep it going.

The only negative for me was that the author chose to portray the wife of the main character as about the dumbest woman on the face of the earth - every time she appeared I cringed wondering what stupid thing she was going to do or say. Overall she detracted from and interrupted the flow of the story. Several other characters also did annoyingly stupid things but you expect some of that in this kind of sci fi book.

However, I enjoyed the series for what it was - a light fun listen!
