Publisher's Summary

Having sold their large city house, Gordon and Jan set up home in a wild, lonely Cornish valley with dreams of creating a special type of holiday retreat. With no house yet built, and still living in their caravan, the family now find themselves on the point of failure. Life beside the small stream is primitive and danger lies ahead, but there is always laughter, a little mischief and a sprinkling of romance. There are problems to surmount, and improvisation is often called for, but they are determined to succeed. Unafraid of risk, the family continues on their adventure with no certainty of success - but every certainty of excitement.

Awful book

This is the most useless, boring, uneventful book it has ever been my misfortune to waste my money and time on. I listened for several hours, hoping that something would eventually develop but NOTHING ever did. If this review prevents someone else from wasting their valuable time and money, then it has served its purpose.
