Narrator Awful!

I enjoyed the book BUT the narrator was the worst I have ever heard during three years with Audible! After the first half-hour or so she seemed to "warm up" some but it has been a chore to finish this book. Only because the story itself is very good did I continue on!

The story line was okay, although plot dragged in many places and the narrator was absolutely HORRIBLE!

Belva Plains is still high on my list, but I will pick another narrator or take a closer listen to the sample play.. I have listened to that narrator before and it was ok

just couldn't enjoy it. it was slow but 1.25 wasnt good either,

I didnt get very far into the book. Probably a good book. just not a good narrator

Disappointed

I was so disappointed because the reader is incredibly terrible. She is so difficult to listen to I had to stop the buck and this is one of my favorite authors. She deserves a better performance
