Bubba's back!!!

If you could sum up Grits, Guns & Glory in three words, what would they be?

Stupid browser erased my first review!!! That's six... My wife said the whole time I was listening to this I was laughing and had a grin ear to ear. Which I agree with and needed severely.

What other book might you compare Grits, Guns & Glory to and why?

I have to compare it to season 1 because Hartness is really my first "paranormal" guilty pleasure besides Butcher. Grits, Guns & Glory is a great continuation of the Bubba saga for me.

Have you listened to any of John Solo’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Ok this I had a huge problem with this... Feeling like I was about to rise up in open revolt my wife had to clam me down and play devils advocate for this imposter!!! I mean Mr Solo. after a good amount of tyrannical protest in my living room and resisting the urge to use my pad as target practice out back. I gave it a try and loved it. It was a pretty seamless transition.

If you could rename Grits, Guns & Glory, what would you call it?

Renaming it would be heresy

Any additional comments?

I've blown though probably 80% of Hartness's work and love it all. It's a good time and can't wait for more to come out...

More, please!!!

I enjoyed this as much as the first. A great collection of stories. I loved that Skeeter got his own story! I particularly enjoyed Howl. A few people have complained about the new narrator, but I think he did a fine job. Honestly, I thought he sounded more like the Bubba I imagined when I read the shorts. It is certainly a different take on the character than the last book, but after a few minutes I fell right in step with him, and he had me laughing out loud more than once.

Great job, Mr. Hartness! Keep up the good work!
