Difficult to hear the narrator
The music is so loud in parts that I couldn't understand what the narrator was saying in parts. His accent, too, made it difficult to understand some of the words. The stories were enjoyable, but the format and quality wasn't great.

Kindermärchen
The stories here are child-friendly Grimm adaptations, short and to the point.
The performance is wonderful, but I have always adored this actor's voice. If I am not mistaken, Joseph Schildkraut (1896-1964) made this recording in the fifties, so be advised this is an old-school studio performance. It plays well on very good speakers but can hardly be heard on average ones.
Times and tastes have changed, but listening reminded me that one is never too old for a fairy tale, and left me nostalgic for long-lost voices, simpler times, and marzipan cake. May you and your little ones enjoy them, too.

Disappointing
advertised as audiobook version of a complete, unabridged collection, actually just 26m of mostly lesser known tales
