A Story of Faith and Hope

Amy, a young woman with two small children stumble on to the Morgan's property in the middle of a blizzard.

The children are well buy Amy is sick and has injured her leg. Once her fever breaks and her leg heals Amy doesn't know who she is or how the came to be on the mountain in the middle of a storm.

While the book is a fictional story it is a good tale of God's love and shows how a little faith can carry us through life's trials.

It's well written and the narration is wonderful.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review. I enjoyed the book and look forward to more from the author. I will definitely recommend this book to others.

Gift from the Storm

Gift from the Storm
: Rebekah Morris

A sweet clean faith based book that has mystery, suspense, and a bit of romance. It took a while to get into this storyline, and the characters could have been developed more deeply. It wasn't my favorite but it's ok.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Shawn Saavedra.

Lovely, sweet Story!

I loved this book so much! The only reason it took me a long time to finish was because I wasn't too fond of the narrator, but oh! Such a sweet, clean story and the ending is so good. What a blessed reminder of God's love and care over us, even when we don't remember...

Enjoyable Story

What made the experience of listening to Gift from the Storm the most enjoyable?

Even though the story had a modern day setting, it still had a very charming old fashioned feel to it. I felt like I was listening to the Waltons or Little House on the Prairie when life was simpler and families closer than at present day.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Amy, you couldn't help but sympathize with her struggle to put together the puzzle of who she really was.

Any additional comments?

Overall the story had a very satisfying ending and was worth listening to. "This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of AudiobookBoom dot com."

Refreshing!

The way this book flows is incredibly relaxing and almost therapeutic. Shawn Saavedra's narration comes across like a campfire tale which fits the cozy, comfortable tone of Rebekah Morris' dialog. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice and easy story of faith, hope, and a bit of romance, in a simpler and less complicated era.
