Publisher's summary

Taking hold of her hand, Annika led Charlee into a stone-sheltered recess. The violet-tinted hue of dawn filtered into the cozy niche.

Annika's hands slid into Charlee's coppery curls and drew her lips close. For a long moment, they hovered there as their gazes danced together. Then Annika pressed her mouth softly against Charlee's, drinking in its sweetness, slowly at first, then more urgently.

Annika supported her as they slowly slid to their knees, their lips never parting. They knelt there in the sand, hands hungrily exploring each other's body. Charlee tentatively ran both hands along Annika's spine, thrilling in the feel of the tremble she created with her touch.

Hungrily Annika pulled down the zipper of Charlee's jacket, surprised to find the other woman wore nothing underneath it. Sucking in a deep breath, she let her eyes drink in the sight of Charlee's bare melon-size breasts.

Soon Annika was using both hands to worship Charlee's breasts, lifting and molding the big boobs, pressing them together. Charlee threw her head back, arching her spine as Annika replaced one of her hands with her lips and.

Decent stories

Really enjoyed the stories. Loved the first narrator's voice! The narrator of the third story I really didn't care for. Kind of took away some of my enjoyment of the story. Otherwise a nice set of short stories.

Nothing like the first time

Three steamy first time experiences. I was pleasantly surprised that there was more to each short story than just the woman's first time sexual encounter with another woman. There was the build up of a friendship which turns into deeper feeling. I enjoyed this audiobook.

Delightful

"First Time Lesbian: Three Book Collection" (2016) by Simone Carter contains three delightful fictional stories, each about a woman who has led a straight life falling in love with a lesbian. The perspective for each story is on the straight woman, but they all provide thorough character development for all six characters. The sex scenes are tasteful and romantic. I wish at least one main character would have been a mother. The narrators held my interest. Solidly recommended. At my request, I was given this free audiobook and have voluntarily left this review.

Sweet quick romances

Yes, these are stories about lesbians but they are truly stories about love and feeling what you feel without being embarrassed. Simone Carter's writing and Lissa Blackwell's narration does an excellent job of making a love scene so sensuous without it being cheesy or sleezy.
Lissa Blackwell is a superb narrator; I'm never disappointed by her narration. Hilarie's narration comes across hard and somewhat monotone after listening to Lissa Blackwell in the first two stories. I would suggest sticking with the same narrator for all three.

Love is Love is Love - Lin-Manuel Miranda

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Overall this collection was good. Simone Carter has a distinct writing style. She writes a love making scene really well. Some writers make a love scene tacky and just a bit too much but Simone does not do that. I am glad that she knows how to show how to individuals make love.

I found a common theme in the stories. I do not know if it was intentional or if it just worked out this way. Charlee, Kirby, and Nora have all had a rough background. I do not now if that was supposed to show that even women from a rough background can put up a façade in order to try and be ‘normal’. I am glad that all of them found love and were all independent.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Lesbian: Uncovering Charlee

Hilarie Mukavitz is not a narrator that I would listen to again. I do not know what it is but I cannot listen to an audiobook that is longer than an hour long. I think that she is a narrator that only speaks in monotone. There is no excitement when the time comes.

Any additional comments?

I received this at my request in exchange for an honest review.

Lesbian: Heaven Sent
Nora is someone who has gone through a lot in her short life. Jillian is one of Nora’s roommates and an unlikely friendship brews. Nora is the typical girl when it comes to new found feelings. Instead of trying to talk it out she tries to run away from her feelings. I understand that the feelings are new but trying to distance herself from the one person that could help her through her feelings is a bit childish. I am glad that she came to the realization that it does not matter who you love it will be okay and the fact others might look at you a certain way means nothing.

Lesbian: Private Investigations
Kirby and Dru started off as friends and the progressed to being lovers. I am glad that the women did not just jump into having a sexual relationship. This is a quick listen and I loved the fact that both women are PIs. That added another element to story. This could have been just another lesbian story about someone realizing that she is okay with dipping in the lady pond. I am glad the author made sure that there is a story that was intriguing to go with Kirby finding out that Love is Love is Love.

Lesbian: Uncovering Charlee

Charlee new that was something was missing from the beginning. I do think that the only reason why Charlee married her husband is because she needed some sort of validation. I loved Annika. There is something to freeing and relaxed about her. She is a person that knows what she wants and is okay being in her own skin. I am glad that she is someone that did not force Charlee. She gave her enough time to come to terms in her feelings.
