The Fool's Gold Series is a great listen.

What did you love best about Finding Perfect?

I love that the characters from the earlier book are reoccuring.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I like Pia. She is someone you want to be friends with.

Which scene was your favorite?

When the older women ganged up of the rude women from out of town.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. I liked listening to it in the car on the way to work for a week.

Not bad...

This isn't my favorite Susan Mallery series, but this third installment to the series isn't half bad (in comparison to the first two books of the series). The story is mildly pleasant, and the characters are likable enough. If you really want a good Susan Mallery series, look for her Buchanan series (starting with Delicious). To me, this Fools Gold series as a whole just lacks the WOW factor of some of SM's earlier work.

Predictable but fun!

This is a light, predictable but nice summer listen. I've enjoyed other Susan Mallery books narrated by Tanya Eby, and this was just as enjoyable.

What is a girl to do

And it starts to get good. But honestly if she wasn’t dead I would smack that friend. Seriously what would I do with frozen embryos!
Raoul is a guy who makes you do a double look and gals you did!

Friendship an unwavering Devotion.

Would you listen to Finding Perfect again? Why?

Yes I have listened 3 times already. Pia is awesome and such a great person and Raoul is such a welcome character. It is nice to see what happens to himself since he is from the Sweet series. I will read again.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Finding Perfect?

When he offers to be her "buddy". It shows character and your heart squeezes.

Have you listened to any of Tanya Eby’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. She is consistently awesome.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes. When she agrees to "do it". You will understand after you listen. I don't want any spoiler alerts.

Any additional comments?

I cant get enough. These books have brought me into this genre. I didn't use to read stuff like this. Between these and a couple other authors I have gotten hooked.

Heartwarming

This was a heartwarming story, that showed what a friend would sacrifice for a great friend. I loved the characters and how they were always there to support each other. This book wasn't focused on the loss of life, but on the strength of friendship.

Story good, narrator NOT

Of the three in the series this was the best story. The narration made me take 2 stars away from what could have been a great audiobook. Tanya Eby has very strange stop/starts, awkward pauses and poor voices for characters. Don't let her ruin the story for you. Read it instead of listening.
