Not enough of a story to keep me interested.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

No one, not enough of a story, too broken, too much back and forth in the minds of the characters, unnecessary comments. Over all a pathetic book.

What was most disappointing about Joseph Connolly’s story?

The whole book!

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Narration by Nigel Peevers poorest of any book I have listened to.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Any additional comments?

Don't spend the money!

3 couples who live on the same street whose lives

What disappointed you about England's Lane?

The narration by both Nigel Peever and Brigit Forsyth was the most irritating narration it has been my misfortune to listen to

What will your next listen be?

Something by Millie Johnson or Sheila O'Flanagan, Erica James or Carol Matthews

What didn’t you like about Nigel Peever and Brigit Forsyth ’s performance?

The voices

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from England's Lane?

The part where the butcher chopped up the blackmailer. This voice was the worst of all and sounded like something out of Dickens

Any additional comments?

Don't waste your money or credit. I wish I hadn't.
