Publisher's Summary

What if Jesus had not come until today? Who would follow him? Who would kill him? Bill Myers, author of the best-selling Blood of Heaven trilogy, asks these questions in Eli, an intense and thought-provoking novel that strips away religious tradition to present Jesus fresh and unvarnished. When a fiery car crash hurls TV journalist Conrad Davis into another world, everything is exactly like present-day reality, except for one detail - Jesus Christ did not come 2,000 years ago, but today. Starting with angels heralding a birth in the back of a motel laundry room, the skeptical Davis watches the gospel unfold in today's society as a Messiah in t-shirt and blue jeans heals, raises people from the dead, and speaks such startling truths that he captures the heart of a nation. But the young man's actions and his criticism of the religious establishment earn him enemies as ruthless as they are powerful. With gripping immediacy, Myers weaves a story whose truth will refresh your faith.

Eli is a great novel that pulls Christ from 2,000 years ago to today's world. It's not only a great work of art, but makes Christ seem more real and very much applicable to today's society. I was truly impressed by this book and very much recommend it to anyone.

Winner! Remember why you said yes to Christ.

I remember my own was walk with God and just how much he loves me. The story held my heart and mind as the story lives in to different worlds. It pushed me to understand that sitting on the fence was not where I wanted to be. Christ gave me a purpose and this book reminded me to stay the course. I don't like when religon is pushed at me yet I was romanced by this book. If you are not sure how to fit God into your life than read this book and find out how you fit in God plan for your life.
