My favorite reader teams up one a favorite author
I had a lot of trouble putting this book down, but I face the same problem every time I read a book by Johnny D. Boggs. Three pre-teen kids run off with an old timer to help him recover a buried treasure, lured by the promise of getting part of it for themselves. All they have to do is avoid the Apaches and the outlaws who want to kill them and take the treasure. As usual, Boggs combines realistic characters with a believable plot to create a story that will keep you at the edge of your seat.
