Skyler and his friends go to Palm Springs for the annual White Party and find murder!

Out and proud high school English teacher Skyler Foxe and his posse of friends go to the annual Palm Springs White Party for a weekend of fun, frivolity, and luscious men. But there are boy troubles of all kinds ahead. Skyler's boyfriend and high school coach, Keith Fletcher, has to endure an embarrassing number of Skyler's former hook-ups, one of the SFC might be going solo, Skyler encounters unexpected and unwelcome participants at the party, and there's a murder on the dance floor, literally at Skyler's feet! Love this series

This was my favorite so far. I usually hate relationship angst. I just want to scream at the characters for not listening to each other. I was hating on Keith when he was being stupid but it was still a great story. I just hope future volumes have the angst outside the relationship instead of in it.
Also, I want Jamie to be my friend.

Once again nailed it

The story was well crafted and expanded on the characters nicely. Always get a good read from this Author. Liked the narration also!

Another wild ride for Skyler and friends

This is another fun story (although a bit more serious than the others). Once again the narrators voice choices for the characters are spot on. Lots of great scenes with Alex and Ric as well as the SFC.

Haley and Joel deliver another hot mystery.

Any additional comments?

I don't know what I expected when I started listening to a story that takes place during the Palm Springs White Party with Skyler Foxe but I was certainly amazed how Haley Walsh managed to get the whole "Scooby Gang" and more in on the action. Once again Joel Leslie's performance of the novel brings everyone to life in such a way that I can't read an unpublished Skylor Foxe novella without hearing his characterizations in by head. Once again amazingly entertaining work form two pros. Haley Walsh keep the mysteries coming because you have me hooked on this funny, romantic, hot and always entertaining series. But of course if you are new to the this series start at the beginning to get the whole fun filled picture.

This series is just plain fun to listen to!

Any additional comments?

My favorite TSTL English teacher / amateur sleuth Skyler Foxe is back and going on vacation to Palm Springs for the annual White Party and bringing the SFC and his boo, Keith, along for the ride. What could possibly go wrong?

Well, murder, underage kids sneaking into the party, relationships hanging by a thread, skinny dipping, butt plugs and c*ck rings…

This series is just plain fun to listen to.

While the rest of the series has focused on Skyler’s POV, I loved that Walsh switched it up this time allowing for multiple points of view including Skyler, Keith, Phillip, Jamie, Sidney, as well as Skyler’s students Alex and Rick as well as telling the story in a less linear fashion.

I adore Joel Leslie’s narration of this series. It consistently amazes me just how many great and distinct character voices he does so well. I love how immersive his narration is, drawing me into each story and keeping my interest until “the end”. He’s reliably entertaining to listen to and I always enjoy his performance.

As always, this series is fun, silly, humorous, sexy, and sometimes over the top, with one of the most likable TSTL characters in the genre.

💥 P H E N O M E N A L 💥

My God! Does this author even know how to write a bad story for Kevin and Skylar?!

I love that this story was told from the view point of the most important characters in this story.

Of course the mystery was intriguing (seriously, the murder mystery really grabbed my attention and held it) and I could not help but laugh at poor Skylar! He tried so hard to stay away from a murder but what could he possibly do when murder literally lands at his feet?! LOL poor guy.

Joel Leslie...nuff said 💖

Love the Scooby Gang!

Another wonderful mystery for Skyler Foxe and the Scooby gang! I loved getting POVs from the other characters and Keith is redeemed after his crappy behavior in the last book. Everyone was a hero in some way or another. Joel Leslie gives life to every one of these characters and I absolutely love the audiobooks. I can't wait to start the next one!

One of the best

This is my favorite of the series so far. Primarily because we finally have other character's POVs. Skylar and Keith of course, but also all the SFC, Rick, Alex and Sidney, YEAH!!!! It is so great to hear from those guys. They are active participants in the latest murder mystery (which is one of the best with a surprise twist I didn't see coming) and we also hear how they feel about their respective relationships. I hope we continue to hear from them. As for Joel Leslie, what is there left to say, he puts in another stellar performance.

A Sure Thing - Sweet, Clever, Humorous

I adore each of the Foxe tales. The writing and the stories are wonderful and the narration by Joel Leslie truly brings them to life. The continuity of his characterization from one book to the next makes me feel as if I know each and every character. (I'm a huge Joel Leslie fan and have many books narrated by him in my collection.)

I just finished listening to Desert Foxe this afternoon and I have to say it's my favorite so far. It was different from the previous stories in that it was told from multiple points of view. And that gave a wonderful glimpse into the inner life of many familiar and well-loved characters. There was a really clever mystery and a bounty of love stories from the *SFC to the students of James Polk High.

What I especially liked this time was the balance of the personal with the mystery and the deepening relationship between Keith and Skyler. I think everyone is growing up, not just the high school students.

Thanks to Haley Walsh for her stories. They make me laugh and then feel all sentimental with a tear in my eye. She's brilliant. And I'm in love with and in awe of Joel's characterization and talent. ❤

If you want a sweet, clever and humorous story, this is the one. (It is 5th in a series, but can easily stand alone. If you can, listen to them all.)

Another fantastic Skyler Foxe Mystery!

So, I’m a bit of an audiobook snob. I shunned it for a LONG time - listening to a book is NOT reading a book; and I’m still EXTREMELY picky when it comes to selecting which books I listen to and which vocal performers I put on my short list of favorites. I can say without a doubt that I would rather listen to this series than read it (and trust me…that’s a HUGE compliment).

Joel Leslie IS these characters to me…and if I were to just read it myself, I’d hear his voice in my head. His perfect vocal performance helps me visualize these characters in my head that I would completely miss out on if I simply read it myself.

I feel a little tipsy listening to these books because they just make me so ridiculously happy (I look like a little bit of a loon while listening because I constantly have a smile on my face during each story). The cast of characters is outstanding (and I’m 100% confident they’re made so much better with Mr. Leslie’s performance).

If you haven’t listened to this series…you absolutely must.
