Publisher's Summary

Amazing Nobel Winning Book!

I will be honest. I hate reading. it is boring and makes me sleepy. this is the first time I tried an Audio book because I was extremely bored. I pick this book because it won the Nobel Prize of literature about 20 yrs back and never read it. I'm glad I gave it a try. it took me to every place and showed me a fantastic world, full of realistic and unrealistic moments. It was 17 hrs of listening which I didn't want them to stop. the details, the way it was writing, it's breath taking and amazing.
this book makes me wanna start reading for once. I totally love it!

a beautiful history, confusing sometimes

with an unexpected end. also, kind of creepy because of the incest issue. finally I think that the main character was Jose Arcadio

The Best Novel of My Life

I recomend you to purchase and listen to this excellent original version of 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' if you are even an intermediate Spanish learner. This is the most beautifully written, the most challenging, I dare say the most crucial Spanish novel of all times.
My only fear was that Spanish talk too fast. But the narrator keeps an old-fashioned storyteller speed all along the audio. I am so happy I could listen to this. Surely not for the last time.
