Is there anything you would change about this book?
Yes, I would completely omit the new story line about the distant third cousin. I get that the author is attempting to foreshadow future books that are being penned, but it is done in such an obvious manner that it makes the brand name of V. C. Andrews feel like a cash cow just milking it's readers.
I also find it ridiculous that this is a TWO part book. There is not nearly enough information in this book to neccessitate dividing into two parts.
What could V.C. Andrews have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Virginia Andrews could not have done anything to make this more enjoyable. But the ghost author, Andrew Neiderman, COULD do some research on how a teenager actually speaks and acts in the year 2014. I have not met a teenager that uses the word "blouse" in a very long time.
Would you be willing to try another one of Kirby Heyborne and Rebekkah Ross ’s performances?
Kirby Heyborne's performance was good.
Rebekkah Ross sounded much too old for the character.
Could you see Christopher's Diary: Secrets of Foxworth being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
ABSOLUTELY not! Let's try to get the Dollanganger's right on screen before, we start trying to add this new character.
Any additional comments?
I will say again, making this book a TWO part book is the most OBVIOUS attempt at needling money out of readers I believe I have ever seen.
