Feel Good Story

I got this book via audiobook boom. This is a story of how God can use circumstances and our own assumptions to bring about true healing and stronger love. Mattie runs away after assuming that her husband is cheating and she goes back home to her father's house. She parted ways with him ten years before because she did not want to follow his edicts. Her best friend Elizabeth and her husband Carson who is best friends to Richard spearhead the issue of not allowing the marriage to dissolve. God uses this to bring not only Mattie in line but her father as well. All three families are united in the end.

What happens when we assume.

What did you like best about Christmas in Paradise? What did you like least?

I liked the spiritual aspect of the story. I hated the arguing & shutting the other person out in a marriage.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Nothing. The author did a good job of creating drama.

What aspect of Kay L. Dees’s performance would you have changed?

She was OK

Did Christmas in Paradise inspire you to do anything?

Never assume.

Any additional comments?
