COUPLE, LOOKOUT POINT, HOOK IN DOOR
On the one hand all collections have losers and this has a larger share of losers than most. On the other hand it is only 69 cents, making it worth taking a chance. There were 22 stories, some of them extremely short and hard to even be considered stories. I was glad I spend the 69 cents. I enjoyed the following stories, Women Seeking Men, Tracking, Bubblehead Road, We Find Ourselves Infested and For Everything There is a Season. Most of the rest were predictable and not even close to scary. None of these are in the class of J.A. Konrath or Blake Crouch or Stephen King, but they don't offer anything at this price either.
HAVE YOU EVER HAD A GUN POINTED AT YOU?
I found it funny that while listening I was trying to think how I would describe most of the stories and the old story about the couple making out in a car and finding a hook in the door or trunk the next day kept coming to my head as a way to explain and than in one of the stories she mentions that very story. This is a debut collection and the author is very young. Someday you may want to be able to say you read her stuff before it cost an arm and a leg. I thought the first three stories were pretty lame and if you think the same than just skip to the stores I have mentioned above. It's 69 cents.
MARIO LOPEZ SHIRTLESS
The narrator is very good, not up there with Porter , Wheaton or some of the others, but not bad either. The only problem I had was that the majority of characters were female and I believe a female narrator would have worked better.

Certain Dark Things
The story and performance were both done very well. This is definitely a book for adults so I don't recommend letting your child/teen read this. The book kept my attention the whole time and the stories reminded me of Tales From the Crypt. I highly recommend.
