Publisher's Summary

Angel wants only one thing - the very thing Marita has already given Jim. Worst of all, Angel fears that Jim's sudden desire to be a full-time father to Charli means he's given up hope of starting a family with her.
Marita has no intention of losing custody to Jim, the man who initially abandoned them. But in the battle for Charli, Marita is almost certain she will lose. Limited resources and a questionable reputation threaten her standing as the best parent to raise her daughter.
Both women are determined to keep their families together...but at what cost?

A great, heartwarming story...

What did you love best about Casting the First Stone?

I love the fact that Casting the First Stone is a well written Christian book. Christian Values, wonderful characters, and a great story line... that makes this book worth the read!

What other book might you compare Casting the First Stone to and why?

I don't know, as I haven't read too many Christian books as of late. But I would still recommend the book to read.

What about Beth McIntosh’s performance did you like?

Beth has a great voice that brings the book to life.

If you could take any character from Casting the First Stone out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Charli. I would take Charli to dinner, as I would have liked to get to know the 12 year old much better.

Any additional comments?

Thanks to audioboom and audible for a great chance to read the book! I was able to read the book for free thanks to audioboom and audible. And since I am allowed to give an honest opinion... I can enjoy the book one way or another.

Great story about family dynamics!

Nice balance between humor and the real struggles that often surround families. I really enjoyed the narrator's depiction of the various characters and found the last chapters to be real real page turners.
