I don't even know where to begin... It is boring, shallow, stupid characters, non-existent plot, and some long, extensive mind numbing, offensive passages about "who would do who or who would do what " sexually, with beastiality and whatever offensive nonsense the author could throw in to try to get a rise out of the audience. Tragically bad. The dialogue is ridiculous and boring, and the characters are stupid and unbelievable and not well established in any way.... the story meanders forever before anything happens with lots of stupid commentary via the characters about today's culture.... The story is based on reality tv survivor shows, all of which are vastly superior to this depiction of it, though I have never paid a lot of attention. Over 2 hours in to it and no real plot or characters have been established, and some really ugly, stupid, offensive stuff is exposed. The author tries to tap into the cheapest, stupedist parts of popular culture to capitalize on them and does a terrible job of it - makes the survivor show look brilliant by comparison.

I have bought hundreds of books from audible and this is truly the very first time I felt I want my money back.

It was utterly dire, offensive, and boring. Kids write more interesting stories than this. Staring at paint drying is better than this. No real thought was put in to it, and it is cheap and lazy and stupid and offensive.

Save your money, save your credit....

Couldn't finish it :(

Brian Keene is a difficult one for me. I've loved some of his stuff and hated others. I guess in this one I just didn't care enough about the characters to bother hanging on to find out who made it and who didn't...
I've actually tried reading the actual hard copy book, but I didn't finish it, either, so it didn't have anything to do with the narrator. I think I actually made it further with the audiobook.
