Edge of your seat exciting!

L. Ron Hubbard does it again with this amazing tale of the Fir trappers of the Northern central plains. Excitingly told without losing any accuracy of the historical facts.
Very well done.

A fabulous historical fiction

When I first got the book I was expecting a standard cowboy and Indian shootem' up, but to my pleasure I was happily surprised. Here we have a seemingly believable story of the clash of cultures and the catastrophes of misunderstanding. Hubbard has done a great job of educating us in the ways of the Blackfoot while entertaining us as well. One thing to keep in mind is this was written when it wasn't cool to side with the Indian.
