Publisher's summary

"Weave," Kate said in her most positive and encouraging voice. Breeze hit the weaves, and Kate ran alongside of him. "Weave, weave, weave, weave," she said as he pulled through and out the last one. "Yes!" Kate raced to the tunnel, willing Breeze to take the far entry. He did it. Kate felt herself tense. Her heart was pounding. We just might do this. We just might do this....

When Kate buys Breeze, a black and white border collie puppy, he soon becomes the center of her life. And when they see agility for the first time, both Kate and Breeze are hooked. But Kate is still struggling with a pain-filled past. She wants to stop grieving and start living again, and now with Breeze has come renewed hope. Agility may just be the ticket to a bright new life for the two of them.

C S Bills does it again!

I have loved every one of CS Bills books. Each series is unique, never a re-heating of an old theme. Her books are relevant to real life, and her characters are so real they become friends. I miss them when the story is finished. I'm looking forward to the next book in the Remember Sarah series, and the agility series. I love that there is mystery without murder, thrill without evil, and excitement without gore or porn. What a refreshing change!! I LOVE you, CS Bills! Please keep your wonderful books coming!

Great Book!!

C.S. Bills is a new author to me. I was attracted to this book as I am a dog lover and have considered getting into agility myself. I thought this book was so much more than a story about a pup named Breeze! There is heartbreak and self discovery, forgiveness and so many other emotions. The story is realistic and so well performed. Wendy Rich Stetson has a very good style of narration. She is able to put so much emotion into her performance. One can feel the anguish, the happiness, the letting go, and more. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher, and/or narrator.

A new beginning

Breeze, by C.S. Bills, is the uplifting story of a fresh start for Kate. Adopting Breeze, a border collie, and getting involved with dog agility training was just what Kate needed to move on from her pain filled past and make a fresh start.

Wendy Rich Stetson does a wonderful job narrating. She really brought the characters to life for me.

My Musings

Wow! What an awesome read. This book is so far from my usual read, and I didn't have any idea how I would feel since there isn't even a romantic element to this story. This is a tale of grief, friendships, new beginnings and embracing what life sends your way.

I loved the healing Breeze brings to Kate. I've never heard of agility training, but it was the best thing that could have ever happened for Kate. While there is no romantic HEA, there is a fantastic happy ending for the heroine!

If you're looking for an uplifting story that will have you cheering and wiping a few years away, then this is a book you will not want to miss. I'm so glad Wendy Stetson suggested this one. She is the narrator, and as always she brings the characters to life, reading with just the right level of emotion. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves dogs especially, but whether that is the case of not, you will love this story. Happy reading!

Good but the title is misleading

The story is engaging however I was expecting it to be more about breeze since that’s the name of the book. I still enjoyed

Amazing story, but agility is just a character.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

From the cover and the title I expected more information about dog agility. It's an amazing story and I understand how dog training made her life better, but it's only a thing that she does...in her life.

Breeze

This is an amazing story of starting over. Kate really needed a fresh start, from all the vultures in her life like a self centered best friend and a stalking ex husband. Breeze helps Kate get back out into life and together they find a new path and an great new start. New friends, new activities, a new job, and a new home, are just the right things to make it happen!

Not a bad story.

Would you listen to Breeze again? Why?

Probably not. The narrator was not great. Too monotone for my tastes.

What did you like best about this story?

The author's way of bringing the character to life.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Put a little more energy into the reading.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Can't really answer this without offering spoilers. BUT, be prepared for feels. :)

Any additional comments?

Can't wait to see more from the author.
