Publisher's summary

Twelve days ago a deadly infection spread across the world. Populations have been destroyed. Law and order are gone. Life as it was known has ceased. The infected are now the strongest species, and survival has become brutal.

Heather has survived by hiding. Hiding is her thing. People are bad. What others do to survive is no concern of hers. On a mission for supplies, she makes a decision that not only places her in danger but will change everything she ever knew - or believed in....

Set against the backdrop of The Undead - the UK's best-selling zombie horror postapocalyptic series - Blood on the Floor is a haunting tale of courage and loyalty. Listen as a stand-alone or chronologically between parts 15 and 16!

Good and Bad

This is my first Zombie book and probably my last.
The first half of the book was pretty good and very funny in places. But the second half of the book made me want to walk into book and slap some sense into Heather and those spoiled ungrateful children they picked up especially the youngest Anya. If it were my child throwing those temper tantrums and putting the whole group at risk. You should have bought muzzle and a spanking she would never forget. Then the book just got monotonous and very repetitive.

Rachel Hine was good with the delivery of the story

Special Story

Well that was a lovely surprise. This should be read after book/day 15. Her monster. Everything I can say would be a spoiler. But this side story, adds to the whole series.

Dont bother with this

I enjoy the Undead series though even that is getting long in the tooth now. I was looking forward to seeing what would be done with this. My only comment is Dont Bother. Bad attempts at trying to link in scenes and characters like Paco as a zombie just screamed Try Hard. If you want to spend over an Hour listening to how a female tries to stop her period than this book is for you... Was not amuseing - was pathetic.

I want more!

So this book should have been read between the last 2 Undead Series...but I didn't know that. However, I read it after & it still is a great back story for Heather & Paco. Trust me, you love it & it synchronizes great with the Series. Just listen & enjoy!!! ;)

Main character whinny and selfish for most of book.

I am huge fan or original British Zombie series and awaiting anxiously next book released. But this main character made me want to walk into book and slap some sense into her and those spoiled ungrateful children they picked up especially the youngest Anna. If it were my child throwing those temper tantrums and putting the whole group at risk. You should have bought muzzle and a spanking she would never forget. I let the book run without me listening last few hours because of everyone except Paco were a butch of whinny selfish individuals, some just more than others.
---love and looking forward to original series, but this spin off series owes me nausea medication.

Awful, Awful book, whinnying from start to finish!!!!!

Interesting- Woman's Perspective

That was interesting- it's a zombie story from the perspective of a woman (periods in the zombie apocalypse and all)-seriously, I did not know that the author was a man until I looked him up after completing the book. The only other author that has done that convincingly for me was Stephen King in Gerald's Game. I read/listen to a lot of zombie books and I'm always purchasing books when someone says "different," and they usually really aren't. But this one was unique and a lot of fun. She's a strong heroin, there's a touch of (really odd) romance, and a lot of action. Obviously a dog lover. Definitely worth a credit!

Pointless

The world really doesn’t need any more zombie apocalypse stories. And it certainly doesn’t need one this long
