I loved this novel - you really get to know and love the characters well, and root for them throughout. Very poignant and relevant for today, even though it's set in '08. I can't say enough about Prentice Onayem either, his delivery and voices were so natural and beautifully done. Both narrator and writer are great talents.
These people were all credible. living at the time of the failure of banks which precipitated what became to us the Global Financial Crisis I thought the author assumed the reader would understand how this affected the main players. The interaction and contrast between the lives of rich and poor was cleverly depicted. on many levels. In the end dreams do not always turn out as we hoped
