Publisher's summary

Mark Bruner is a bear caught in the middle. While Mark has always harbored feelings that his father's ancient clan might consider abhorrent, he's been able to keep them in check for years in order to better serve his family's needs. But, in the fallout of his brother's ill-timed actions, the clan's financial empire begins to crumble, and Mark finds himself with a plane ticket to Mumbai. Once aboard, he can't help but be shaken up by the tattooed shifter in a nearby seat and those long-repressed feelings threaten to reemerge.

Zeke Kaplan isn't like most tigers. Where any other tiger would prefer to roam wild and run free, Zeke has been desperately searching for the mate he knows can calm his inner-beast. So when he catches the eye of a weary-eyed bear with a chip on his shoulder, Zeke knows he's found the one. Convincing the sexy and broad-shouldered giant, however, turns out to be more than a little challenging.

As Mark and Zeke's forbidden romance buds, an old and dangerous enemy rears his head once more, threatening to destroy everything they've come to hold dear. When flight no longer remains an option, Mark and Zeke must fight back or lose each other forever. Can they overcome a force that would see them dragged into eternal dismay, or will they have to face a harsh truth and realize that sometimes romances should remain forbidden?

A Nice Addition to the Original Story

My heart broke for Mark and his personal struggles with his identity and family. I was so happy he found Zeke and got the happiness he deserved

Rather far fetched coincidences stretching increjulity

Strangely the brother of Mathew is suddenly now gay, and he bumps into the gay cousin of Mathew’s mate, on the same airplane over (neither knowing this connection, of course they fall in love. Then they go and end up getting the brother knocked up — because Mathew wasn’t enough of an example on how not to do family planning... Just way too many coincidences. But as it goes a cute story, as long as you suspend a lot of disbelief.

Fun shifter romance

This is a lovely sequel to Striped and Bear. In Striped and Bear we saw a Bear who wanted to roam and now we have a Tiger who wants to nest.

The couple meets on the plane to Mumbai – not knowing they are going to the same place – and realize they are mates – but fighting the attraction.

When they part ways at the airport they don’t expect to see one another again so they’re shocked to run into each other at Zeke’s brother’s house.

There’s a fight to be together that results in a delightful HEA and we get to check up on our previous MCs who are now expecting!

I love these two books and the narration by Gus Klondike is just perfect! He does the emotion so well and I love his pacing and voice quality. He does a nice job with the voices and making the listener feel like they’re part of the story.

Highly recommended for fans of shifter romance!

Unexpected surprise

I enjoyed reading this book . I also enjoyed listening to it . The characters was great. I loved the romance . Mark struggling with his insecurities and up bringiing. Zeke carefree and living life. Both dominant males . My favorite part is on the airplane when Zeke first see Mark. Mark is not receptive to him at first. I enjoyed the narrator as well . The voices was exactly what I expected . I'm looking forward to reading Asher's story. I like to see how that turns out .

Bear my Stripes

This book follows up on where book one ends. Definitely recommend reading and/or listening to book one first before this one if you want the full story.

This book was a quick listen with a decent plot and storyline overall. This book has little to no angst and is really just a nice, easy way to pass some time without really having to dig deep into a crazy drawn out story. I really enjoyed the narrators take on the voices for these characters. I had fun listening to how Mark and Zeke met. Like with book one, I was fascinated with the Bear/Tiger mating so that was interesting to see happening again. I am kind of hoping we get a third book with a storyline for the Polar Bear Asher, I would like to know more about him. But I think this book was a good end to the brothers Mark and Matthew’s stories. I am glad they were both able to find their HEA’s especially with all of the family drama they had to endure to get to that point. Their dad is a horrible person (bear) and I hope he rots in whatever jail or dungeon they throw him into.

This is a lovely sequel

Any additional comments?

I was glad to see that Matthew and Ezra's story was continued here and that the pregnancy results were revealed. I found the most interesting character in the story to be Asher and so I'm glad that the next story will be about him. This series is a nice short read when you want something easy and kind of predictable in between more heavy and longer works.

No,this should have not been put into Audio

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I brought this series based on customer review.Waste of money-it was a mistake.
This is why it is important that all us readers write a review even a few words makes all the difference. Simply because the majority of reviews WILL pick up the fact that the book is rubbish.

What was most disappointing about Artemis Wolffe’s story?

the writting,it came over as a "just starting out" novella.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Gus Klondike?

No

Loved It

I loved both books and characters (I did get a few glances, i have a tendency to talk to myself and make faces when i get into books especially audibles), sad that it ended I was hoping Asher would get a story/mate
