Publisher's summary

Kayla, Evelyn, and Trina have been on-and-off-again girlfriends for many years, but the lines of true friendship will be crossed, the knives that go into another friend's back will cut deep, trust will not apply, and no one will share their dirty little secrets. With enough backstabbing, finger-pointing, and disrespect to go around, this trio sticks to their motto of "What she can do, I can do better; and whatever she has, I want a piece of it too."

Much competition is thrown in the mix, and jealousy is so thick that there will be no place for anyone to run when the mess hits the fan. Only then will they attempt to put their many differences aside, but when severe damage is already done, it may be possible to forgive, but certainly not to forget.

Narrator issues

I really hate how the narrator switched from pronouncing Jacoby's name right and then wrong again. All throughout the entire book. Did the author even listen to this???

No words but Ill try

Come on Brenda????? You can do better. The performance was terrible. The storyline was horrible. You have done better but this one right here. Go back to your roots. Soul search or something but don't write another book like this.

BFF-Boring For real, For real

I am struggling to finish this book. The narrator should only been used for one character, and the overall story just moves too slow. I had to rate now because I just have a feeling its not going to get any better since I am on chapter 11/23.....this is the first Buck 50 production book I haven't cared for.

So...

Besides all the negative reviews I'm glad I continued to listen. It was a good read. All I have to say is Cedric got what was coming!

What is Happening Here

I can’t even get into this because the narrator is HORRIBLE!!!! She reads without any emotion and in a simple manner, as if she’s following her finger. I love Brenda Hampton, but it’s a no for me.

great story

I really enjoyed the plot. I hear about people's lives that end up like this, and I have been curious to how people would and should handle those situations with best friendlies.

Dumb girl

This book was ridiculous. The three best friends were just plain stupid. Kayla character was just stupid and her husband was a dirty dog. I can't see any best friend that don't work can just give her friends money all of the time. The character Evelyn was a no good friend. But her character was very real. I know so many women that slept with there friends husband. The end of the book was ridiculous. I don't believe I will buy book two.

Bad narrator

This book was highly over read. I understand pronouncing words but she over pronounced them, and didn't properly phrase parts of the sentences. It was like she was taking a test to prove she could read. Also the mispronounced boy's name was irritating Jacob-ee versus Jacoby. The story was good and ratchet but the narrators voice overs didn't connect with the characters by any means. This book shoulda been called Frenemies cause BFFS where?
